135. Mom has a mom too
It was a busy day, receiving congratulatory messages from all over the place. Thanks to the consideration of my teammates, I wasn't bothered by anything major, but by the time I left work, I was exhausted.
"I'm back."
When I opened the front door and greeted her, Yena was the first to come running.
"Mom!"
"Princess Yena!"
I didn't have the strength to hug Yena who was calling for her mother, so I sat down on the floor and accepted the child's hug.
While the mother and daughter were exchanging affectionate greetings, Gook-soon approached.
"Rice."
"I ate."
"You're not coming with Mr. Jeong today."
"Yeah. I guess you have a lot to do."
"Oh my. This will be hard."
"I had a hard time too."
When Gook-soon muttered to herself as if she was worried about her husband, Jeong-oh stuck out his lips and grumbled. When he opened the refrigerator to see if there was any cool juice, Gook-soon asked.
"Want to drink beer?"
"No. I decided not to drink."
"What's going on?"
"Mom, do you think I'm a person who drinks all the time?"
I couldn't bring myself to say that it was because of something I had done to Jeong Ji-heon, so I answered him sharply. Ye-na followed Jeong-oh back and told him what had happened today.
"Mom. Yena called Grandpa today."
"Was that so? What did you talk about with Grandpa?"
I couldn't call her separately, but I thought my daughter had done something special, so I put my palm on her cheeks and asked with a smile.
"When I said I ate all the candy, Grandpa said he would make some more."
"Yes, no, Jeong Ye-na."
But his expression quickly changed at Yena's answer.
"Did you eat all the candy?"
"huh."
"You ate all that?"
Noon wandered around and headed to Yena's room. There was definitely a large container full of candy, but the containers that Jaegwang had filled with candy were empty. Both containers! The child even ate the candy powder that had settled at the bottom.
In four days, all that candy was gone.
"You ate all this by yourself?"
"Grandma gave some, Dobin gave some, and Doyoon gave some."
"Dobin and Doyoon each gave me a few."
Yena lowered her head and counted her little fingers carefully.
I gave you so many that you can count them on one hand.
Most of them said they ate it all by themselves.
"Jeong Ye-na. Mom told me how many candies I should eat a day. She told me to only eat four."
"But this candy was smaller than the others."
"You ate ten times? What do you mean ten times? You must have eaten four hundred."
Yena also knew that she was wrong, so she avoided Noon-oh's eyes.
