“Bring some men with you and head to the place Jared mentioned to have a look around. Bring some stuff with you and give them to President Zeigler if you’re sure that the Trial will be held there. If it’s an imperial mausoleum, then there must be quite a lot of treasures in there,” he said coldly.
Ryker ordered Godrick to bring some men to the place mentioned by Jared and to bring some supplies, as well as to hand them over to President Zeigler if he was sure the Trial would be held there. If it was an imperial mausoleum, there would likely be many valuable treasures inside.
Ryker would be attending the Trial this time. Everything that was being done now was for his own sake, so there was no way he wouldn’t take it seriously.

Rather than killing Jared, Ryker only needed to capture him and confirm his identity. Once he confirmed Jared’s identity, he could use him to threaten his sister, Beatrice. Ryker’s priority was to find out the secret he had been trying to uncover for over 20 years.
Ryker passed the jet melding cream to his subordinate, instructing him to divide it into two parts, with one part to be eaten by Tommy and Phoenix, and the other part to be applied. Ryker told him to do this once every day.
After Jared left, Tommy and Phoenix continued to chat with each other, seemingly relaxed despite their condition. Jared had stopped by to visit them, bringing jet melding cream to help them recover from their injuries.
