Philip quickly turned off the lights in the box, and Sara quietly opened the door to the room and stepped out mysteriously.
After a while, she gently opened the door again and walked in with a food delivery truck. On top of the truck, a large cake with five layers sat.
The cake had 6 candles in each of the first four layers, and 3 candles in the top layer, totaling 27.
What surprised Marven was that on the top layer, two realistic dolls made of fondant sat.
What surprised him even more was that the dolls were a little boy and a little girl.
The boy was about 5 or 6 years old, and the girl was about 3 or 4 years old.
Their clothing appeared to be from at least 20 years ago, but it was still elegant and meticulous.
Their poses were interesting as well. The boy stood still, while the girl, who was slightly shorter, held the boy's arm shyly.
Looking closely at their expressions, they were vivid. The boy looked somewhat dull and lost, while the girl looked very happy and was laughing like a flower.
When Marven looked at the dolls, he felt a sense of déjà vu but couldn't remember exactly where he'd seen it.
Sara, standing beside him, smiled and asked, "Marven, don't these two children look familiar?"
Marven nodded repeatedly and said, "I do see them familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen them before."
Lenan, on the side, smiled and said, "You silly boy, isn't that just you and the girl? That's when you two were young, and it's your 6th birthday!"
