I head to my room, astonished what the fuck!?
First Jaden rejects us now he’s nice then Dimitri wants me to see him after acting like a jerk.
There is some kind of enmity between Dimitri and Jaden. It cannot possibly be because of me.
I’m Frozen in place feeling I just stepped into the wrong room, I had expected to come to see the stupid mess but it had been cleared up and the room was spotless.
Closing the door behind me, feeling I had walked into a prank minding my every step.
The cupboard was closed, opening it. I duck low expecting something to jump at me when nothing does. I stand up right to see it’s been arranged with new clothes.
How… stunned I asked, through my hand through the soft materials.
They were more than the first, smelling of new linen and Jasmine sliding the last cloth I saw into two boxes, one of which I recognize as one I kept in my old necklace and a new one way different.
Opening it I suck In a breath awestruck.
It was an emerald green necklace but unlike my father’s shaped like a year drop this one was of a flower.
I glazed my fingers on the flower
Jaden.. I whispered, overwhelmed, this was a real thoughtful gift I noticed a note underneath it.
Because you remind me of Jasmine.
So this was all this was about. It had been Jaden all along. Somehow I knew it but couldn’t come to face the truth. I blink back happy tears picking up the chain it twirls in the air shimmering under the light source.
I absolutely loved it, placing it back. I see the old box opening. I see the broken one and its pieces reminding me it’s payback time dropping both necklaces as I close the cupboard exiting the room plotting as I walk by.
I go to the store room grabbing a glue and then the kitchen for food coloring.
The chef looks at me weirdly but doesn’t utter a word. It was payback time.
Riley had left the room wearing a bathrobe I sneak past her into the clean bathroom it was a lovely place smelled of lavender buy I didn’t come all the way to enjoy the smell hurrying I opening all the cupboard and shelves
Gosh how can someone as Ugly as Riley have so many lotions grabbing the first one I touch I poured in the glue and blue food coloring I shaking in fidgeting grinning eviling my smile disappears when I hear footsteps.
“Oh no Riley” I walk out the room exhaling as she walks in not spotting me. I hurry out the room to tend to my other duties.
Patience is a virtue and honestly it was worth the wait.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” the screeching sound finally came like a blaring alarm. I walked towards where it was coming from.
Shyna was pulling Riley’s hand that was stuck on her blue hair.
I burst laughing as Riley cried she should pull harder.
Gosh I wish I could save this moment and replay it over and over.
“Urgh” Shyna struggled to pull Riley’s hands ; they both fell back with force.
“No!!” Riley cried. her hand had come off but with a fist full of hair leaving the part it came off bare I laughed harder at a screaming Riley.
That’ll show them not to mess with Shyna you’re next.
Laughing hard in front of them, I tried walking away, both of them glaring at me.
“You! you caused this!” Riley pounced with one hand on her hair looking silly coming at me before she could take a swing at me. I give her a hard smack on the face.
Angry, she recovered and tried to grab me. I moved out catching her wrist, twisting her hand behind her back the harder she struggled the higher I pulled.
“Don’t you dare mess with me again” I whispered, pushing her as she falls on her face in pain, without looking back I step away pointing at Shyna then my eyes a gesture meaning “I’m watching you”.
The moon comes soon, pulling on a pair of new jeans and black shirt. I walk out of my room , my hands shaking.
“We were going to talk nothing more” I kept repeating in my mind trying to convince myself.
In some unexplainable way I felt I was cheating on Jaden by going to see Dimitri. I know it sounds stupid but that’s how I felt
“We’ll only talk about nothing more” I think one last time.
I’ve noticed a certain edge lately. The guards no longer ordered me around like before, my food had actually been edible and I’m not questioned as I walk through the doors. It must be Jaden’s impact.
I head to the forest, the same one we had met. It felt just like yesterday I was staring at the handsome man but now I had a nagging feeling in my conscience that I should just return home and ignore Dimitri not like it was going to be hard, he’s hardly around.
“Boo!” I turned sharply and my muscles tenses coming here had been alert so I was ready for any casualty.
“It’s just me” Dimitri says smiling, he walks up to me kissing me on the lips I pull away seeing his hurt but he easily hides it.
“Why did you call me here?” I ask, walking through the wet grass. The sky was a dull shade of blue with no stars but the moon brightened up the place.
“I thought you wanted to see me?” He asks a bumped. “Are you mad, I did?”
I melt seeing a fragile Dimitri.
” No” I take his hand in mine, he rubs my knuckles with his thumb but I felt nothing, his hand was warm but I felt cold.
I was going to choose Jaden over Dimitri and I hated the fact I was going to break his heart.
He smiles a bit
“I’m sorry for making you feel that way” he tucks my hair behind my ears. ” I’m not using you. I hope you trust me” taking my second arm he adds
“I’ve felt an undeniable pull towards you since the day we met. Please tell me you have too?” Dimitri cobfessst
I stare at him numb. Yeah, maybe at first I had but not so much, I was now filled with Jaden’s scent, I had it bad cause I could literally feel him…
