"Pssst, child." Rustave closes her mouth, looking around.
"Can't just blurt that out," He says, pulling her to the room.
The smile creeps into my face if I can manage to prove the child isn't Jaden's then...
"Hailey" I jump at her voice.
Nisha looks at me like I've gone mad.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh, Nisha" I hug her warmly.
"What's the occasion? One minute you're gloomy, the next you're happy?"
"Because Nisha, I just found out something juicy!"
"Well, don't leave me in the dark, share what's the exciting news?"
I don't know if I should trust Nisha, I just met her.
"Well, don't give me that look, the suspense is killing me!"
"Riley's child isn't Jaden's!"
"Huh!" She sucks her breath, looking at me weirdly.
"Are you certain? You know you just claimed the Alpha's child if what you're saying is false, you will be punished."
I tense at her words.
"There's only one way to know for certain, a DNA test."
"But, there has to be a way to get it..."
I'll also need samples from Jaden, recalling what Aitch said, I wonder if he knew his plan.

"Hailey, what are you doing here?" He says, trying to button his clothes.
I was about to remind him he imprisoned me in his room, but he walks out the door, pulling me along.
"You get the next room" he points, fumbling with the button.
"I have an urgent meeting to attend to, everything you'll need should have been placed..."
With that said, he coughs, smoothing out his clothes, then walks away.
There has to be a way to get Riley's blood sample if she is not carrying Jaden's child, then she will be extra careful not to let anyone get it.

I head in the direction he pointed, the room looked like it could use a bit of cleaning, it was nice though.

She looks at me confused.
"Now why would you want to see me?"
"Just wanted to see how you and your baby're faring?"
"We're doing just fine, my baby wants nothing to do with you, the first thing I'll do when I'm Luna is kick you out of the pack."
"Ha!" I laugh out, the irony will be kicked out from the same pack twice.
"If you become Luna, that child has nothing to do with anyone you claim it does."
She looks at me stunned but for only a second before she regains her composure, glaring at me.
This proves my theory correct, the child belongs to another.
"I have not the slightest idea of what you're blurring, you're just pained, Hailey, you've always been a slave somehow, the stars gave you a chance but your fate remains the same."
"You don't have to worry about my fate, Riley, worry about yours and your baby's... one trip to the hospital can ruin all the glory she's glowing in."
"Yes, I will, and you better watch your back; heard what happened to our mother seems like slavery runs in the bloodline as they say, like mother like a child."

"How dare you!" Riley blares, slapping me in the face.
Without hesitating, I return it with force, making her slump to the floor.
"Riley!" A maid slumps down to pick her up.
"Don't you know she's pregnant?"
"Well, she better stay within her limit, we don't want anything to happen to her baby."
I threaten, heading out.
When I'm blocked by the guards.
"Can't leave"
"What do you mean, you I can't leave?"
"You both can't leave"
Great! I'll get Nisha to talk to him about it, I trail back furious, I just wasted my time heading back to my room.
Guards burst through the entrance.
"Hey, what are you guys doing!"
I tell as they go around searching the room, I had finally settled in watching television for hours, and they were blocking my view from the bed.
"Hey, what do you mean? There's been complaints, and we need to see you in."
Complaints?
Who the hell would complain about me when I've not even stayed in the room for twenty-four hours!
"Sire"
One guard calls out, walking towards him, handing him a small transparent bag filled with herbs, whispering in his ears.
He nods then turns towards me.
"Miss Hailey Stewart, you're arrested for the murder of Riley's child."
