CHAPTER 45 "Supper at Six"
Avery says Madeline wrote to Wilson about her published family tree. Madeline described Calvin's upbringing in a Wilson-funded home. Avery began to piece together the story after Madeline's details. Elizabeth asks about Calvin's biological father, and Avery says he died of tuberculosis before his birth. Avery describes how she met him, and Elizabeth recounts her first meeting with Calvin. Avery wants to know more about Calvin and be part of Elizabeth's family, but Elizabeth tells her she already is. Before Avery leaves with Wilson, Elizabeth invites them over for "supper at six" at Elizabeth's home lab with Walter, Harriet, Madeline, and Six-Thirty, adding that they will eventually meet Mason and Wakely: "The whole family".
After their departure, Elizabeth and Six-Thirty resume her abiogenesis research in the lab.
