I can’t have you getting hurt at every turn, I might grow old faster than I should because of you, young lady,” she said dramatically, and Adrian laughed from behind us. “Mom, she has to eat before you attack her like that,” he spoke, and Rose pouted like a child. In all my years of hardship, I never thought there are people who had it worse than me, after all, there’s nothing as shameful and hurtful as being the omega of the pack,” I said, “but knowing that that life was lost because he didn’t get the love of a true pack shook me.
